EFMI Business School is an academic institute that concentrates exclusively on
management issues facing companies in the food sector.
This focus on being a 'Food Business School' makes EFMI clearly distinctive from other
academic business schools. The EFMI is an independent knowledge institute of Groningen
Academic Education (AOG), which is affiliated with the University of Groningen.

The EFMI has two core activities: (1) developing knowledge by conducting policy-relevant
research and (2) transfering knowledge by providing management courses.
The knowledge that EFMI develops is presented in management reports that are available
to more than 100 retailers, manufacturers and service organisations that are members of
the EFMI.
